On being told that my client, Amy Castledine, who is also a new graduate had been cast as the lead for a one night only West End performance at the most prestigious venue in London gave me an immense sense of satisfaction, but to be told they would have 48 hours to rehearse left a sense of panic, not because I doubt my clients ability, but the concept is complete lunacy! The West End has become very much a 'reality show market'. Putting on new and exciting productions such as Me and My Girl is a superb way for the unknowns to showcase their talent and show the public you do not have appear on Saturday night TV to be a success. Eyebrow Productions, responsible for Me and My Girl, have proved that the West End can entertain the public at sensible ticket prices, with immensely talented actors and guarantee a thoroughly enjoyable night out!

I have to admit I was both surprised and amazed by the standard and quality of the Me and My Girl production.  It just goes to show what talented and inspired people can do in just 48 hours, and how the theatre community of London still continues to stand together supporting such worthwhile causes.

I would love to see this as a regular event, whereby people from across the industry from technicals to twirlies all collaborate together on achieving the seemingly impossible. Me and My Girl broke boundaries I didn't think would be crossed in such a short space of time... it was just a shame it was only on for one night. It also seems a clever way to keep theatre alive and exciting!

The performance of Me and My Girl at the Palladium on Sunday 26th October 2008 was an incredible achievement – it doesn’t seem possible that this large crowd of performers were able in 48 hours to achieve such a high standard of performance – some of the best singing and dancing currently in the West End.  Everybody was brilliant and it was good to see in London a show with London characters. I would be happy to see this production over and over again and it would be a lovely idea to see it for a longer run in the West End.
