“Won’t You Charleston With Me?”

To celebrate this year’s Showtime Challenge production of The Boy Friend, we made an official attempt to break the Guinness World RecordsTM for the largest Charleston dance. We created a special modern version of the Charleston – “The Drink-Up Chicken” – and invited anyone to learn the moves and take part.

The attempt took place on Bank Holiday Monday 2 May 2011 at Pimlico Academy, London at 12.30pm. We are currently awaiting a decision on our attempt from Guinness World RecordsTM.
